During college, Jenny worked in a market research sensory lab for a well-known chemical and cleaning products manufacturer, and after graduating, moved into a research and development lab. After a year in that position, she missed the marketing aspects of lab research and arrived at Labconco relishing the opportunity to use her science and marketing background in a new environment. Jenny thrives on a healthy respect for the work that our clients use Labconco equipment to accomplish:
“Some of the research that is done using our equipment is incredible,” Jenny says. “There are some brilliant minds researching not only well-known issues, such as cancer, but also little-known diseases, with little funding and little recognition. Going to industry trade shows allows me to read papers, posters and attend sessions by scientists who use Labconco equipment in their research. It gives me the opportunity to see how our equipment is being used in research, and to feel a part of the research outside of the lab.”
Jenny has worked at Labconco since 1999, and believes in the quality of the products that they manufacture; she says it’s important to her that Labconco products are built in the heart of the USA, Kansas City, Mo.
