Labconco is a manufacturer of Laboratory Equipment and support sales and technical support of our products globally.
The Sales and Service Specialist will support the International Sales Manager and Latin American Sales Manager in the direction of sales programs within an assigned geography. Support continued market growth of Labconco products by assisting dealers’ sales service efforts activities within an assigned region. Serve as a primary resource for dealers and customers requiring assistance troubleshooting the operation and/or function of their product after the sale.

Previous negotiation and presentation skills are required.

Language Skills
Multi or Bilingual -
Spanish: native speaking, reading, and writing is required.
English: advanced proficiency speaking, reading, and writing is required.
Portuguese: speaking, reading, and writing preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Computer Skills/Other Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) programs. Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
Work Environment –
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee can be exposed to moving mechanical parts while occasionally working with or visiting the production lines to stay familiar with the products. While testing products with Engineering an employee could be exposed to chemicals or products. The risk of electric shock is very low, but could occur should the employee plug and unplug units while moving units at tradeshows for demos, sales meetings, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time required. Travel to the US will be required for training and annual sales meetings.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university including three to five years of related experience; or Trade/Service Engineering School degree/certification with three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical or Science degree preferred.
Work Schedule
Normal working hours are typically 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday; unless otherwise discussed and/or established by the manager or seasonal schedule changes. From time to time additional hours may be required, as needed. This position is expected to work remotely within assigned territory.
